Cong demands release of tribal students detained in Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Congress president Harshvardhan Sapkal has demanded the immediate release of tribal students detained by police after they allegedly entered the party headquarters, Tilak Bhavan, in Mumbai, where they had taken shelter for the night during their long march from Nashik. According to Sapkal, the students had sought accommodation at Tilak Bhavan for the night. He alleged that police entered the Congress headquarters during the midnight hours and detained students, including women, and also arrested NSUI president Sagar Salunkhe and the Mumbai NSUI president.
