BJP performs 'pitru shanti' rituals for Gandhi family, Congress hits back

Nagpur, Oct 10 (UNI) A political war of words erupted in Nagpur on Saturday after BJP workers performed symbolic ancestral rituals for former prime ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, with the saffron party accusing Congress MP Rahul Gandhi of promoting "anarchy" and displaying signs of a "mental disorder". The ritual was conducted by members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by BJP Nagpur city president Dayashankar Tiwari, at Variety Square in the city.
