Contempt petition filed against Sanjay Raut for remarks against judiciary

Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) A criminal contempt petition has been filed in the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court against Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut, accusing him of making "inappropriate and objectionable" statements against the judiciary. The petition, filed by advocate Amit Shrikant Deshpande through counsel Shailendra Gangakhedkar, alleges that Raut's public remarks harmed the reputation of the judiciary.
