Maha: Kolhapur Circuit Bench declares invalid BJP MLC Padalkar's candidature for Sangli District Bank

Kolhapur, Oct 13 (UNI) Kolhapur Circuit Bench of Bombay High Court today declared the candidature of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Gopichand Padalkar for Sangli District Central Cooperative Bank (SDCCB) as invalid. Hearing on a petition challenging decision to validate his candidature from Jat 'A' society group, the Kolhapur Circuit Bench declared Padalkar's candidature as invalid. Former MLAs Vikramsinh Sawant and Shinde had objected to the membership of Kunikonnur Sarva Sewa Cooperative Society and the experience of being a director in Nimbavade Rural Non-Agricultural Credit Society attached to Padalkar's candidature.
