Maha: Advocate moves MHRC over electrocution deaths at Lalbaug Mahaganpati pandal, minor among 2 dead

Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) A complaint has been lodged before the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (MHRC) over the accidental deaths due to electrocution at the Mahaganpati pandal in Kalachowki area of the city, seeking action against all public pandals in the state. The complaint has been filed by Bombay High Court Advocate Ashish Rai. In his complaint, Rai has sought immediate directions against various authorities, including Mumbai Police, BMC, BEST, Maharashtra government, Mantralaya and Mahaganpati Mandal, Kalachowki, for alleged negligence during Ganeshotsav.
