Kolhapur: District Additional Session Judge sentences life imprisonment to accused for sexual assault of minor girl

Kolhapur, Oct 9 (UNI) District Additional Session Judge (3) AY Perimally today sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 1,000 to an accused for the 2018 sexual assault of a minor girl after kidnapping her in Shahuwadi tehsil of this district. According to public prosecutor Sujata Ingale, accused Tanaji Namdev Shinde (30) of Kandgaon-Kamblewadi, kidnapped a minor girl, resident of the same village, and sexually assaulted her in a field by a roadside of the village, on September 29, 2018.
