Bombay HC to hear actor Imran Khan's plea on Oct 26, two days ahead of deportation deadline

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) The Bombay High Court will hear actor Imran Khan's petition on October 26 challenging a Mumbai Police notice directing him to leave India by October 28 following his alleged involvement in a protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. The 43-year-old US citizen, nephew of actor Aamir Khan, has also received a show-cause notice from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office questioning why his Overseas Citizen of India status should not be revoked.
