Five honoured Ganesh Idols Immersed in Pune amid drum beats

Pune, Sep 25 (UNI) The historic Ganesh festival in Pune concluded on Friday on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi with the immersion of the city's five honoured Ganesh idols amid traditional drum beats, musical performances and chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya". Large crowds of devotees gathered in and around the Mandai area from the morning to witness the immersion processions. The processions moved towards Belbag Chowk, accompanied by traditional dhol-tasha troupes, musical bands and enthusiastic devotees.
