5,000 Dhol players to participate in mega percussion event in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pune, Sep 21 ( UNI) Around 5,000 dhol players from 151 dhol-tasha troupes are expected to participate in a mega collective percussion event to be held in Pimpri-Chinchwad on October 4. The event, dedicated to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be held at the Hindubhushan Smarak Trust and Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj International Exhibition Centre at Borhadewadi, Moshi. According to Amar Bhalerao, vice-president of the Dhol-Tasha Pathak Mahasangh, the collective performance will be an attempt to establish a world record.
