Mahagenco achieves record power generation for five consecutive months

Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (Mahagenco) has recorded its highest-ever monthly power generation for five consecutive months from June to October 2026, with overall electricity production touching an all-time high of 5,817 million units in October. The record generation comes amid low rainfall across Maharashtra and rising temperatures, which have increased electricity demand in the state.
