Maha Govt sets up 12-Member panel to reintroduce college campus elections

Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) The Maharashtra government has officially announced the formation of a 12-member committee to study how student council elections in college campuses and higher educational institutions can be reintroduced. The Higher and Technical Education Department has issued a Government Resolution (GR) regarding the appointment of such a committee, under the chairmanship of former Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, Professor Suhas Pednekar.
