Maharashtra Board waives class 10 and 12 exam fees for students in 265 drought-hit talukas

Nashik, Sep 29 (UNI) In a major relief to students affected by drought, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has directed all divisional boards to accept online examination application forms from Class 10 and Class 12 students in 265 drought-hit talukas without collecting examination fees for the February-March 2027 examinations, until further orders. The decision follows a government resolution issued by the Relief and Rehabilitation Department on September 25 which announced various concessions as a special measure in view of drought-like conditions prevailing in 265 talukas across the state.
