Tusshar Kapoor gets Rs 5 crore extortion threat in Bishnoi Gang's name; voice test raises doubt over call's authenticity

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor has allegedly received an extortion threat demanding Rs 5 crore from a caller claiming to be Harry Boxer, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, prompting the Mumbai Police to launch an investigation. Following the threat, Kapoor approached the Mumbai Police, which subsequently transferred the case to its Anti-Extortion Cell and Crime Branch for further investigation. During the preliminary probe, the Crime Branch's technical team examined the audio recording of the threatening call and compared the caller's voice with an authenticated voice sample of Harry Boxer available in the police database.…
