BMC's 14-feet demolition drive to make 1.5 lakh homeless: SP MLA Rais Shaikh

Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) Samajwadi Party MLA Rais Shaikh today asked the BJP to clarify its stand on the BMC's plan to demolish slum structures taller than 14 feet and said the civic body's drive, starting October 1, could affect around 39,000 families. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has said it will run a special drive from October 1 to December 31 against unauthorised slum structures that are 14 feet or taller.
