Maha: Seven killed, 19 injured in Samruddhi Expressway crash

Wardha, Oct 2 (UNI) Seven people were killed and 19 others injured after a speeding truck rammed into a pickup vehicle on the Samruddhi Expressway in Maharashtra's Wardha district early Friday, police said. According to officials, the victims were travelling in the pickup vehicle when the truck collided with it on the expressway. The impact was so severe that five people died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries while being taken to hospital.
