Maha Govt to provide land for Nomadic and Denotified Communities at Re 1

Bharat Ghandat Nashik, Oct 14 (UNI) The Maharashtra government plans to provide land at a nominal cost of Re 1 to members of the nomadic and denotified communities to facilitate their permanent rehabilitation. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has directed officials to prepare a proposal urgently and place it before the state Cabinet for approval. Bawankule, who chairs the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Other Backward Classes (OBCs), also expressed strong displeasure with officials for failing to take meeting directives seriously and delaying the submission of proposals.
