Eight students drown at Diveagar Beach in Raigad during excursion

Mumbai, Oct 1 (UNI) Eight students from Alandi in Pune district, all aged 16, drowned while swimming in the sea at Diveagar beach in Raigad district of Maharashtra during an excursion, police said on Thursday. The students, studying in Classes 11 and 12 at Winners Academy in Alandi, had visited the popular beach on Thursday along with their group.
