WB police foil smuggling of 12 live camels to Bangladesh

Siliguri, Feb 18 (UNI) West Bengal police foiled an attempt to smuggle 12 live camels from north India to Bangladesh and arrested three persons and seized a truck from Haryana.
Siliguri Metropolitan police during frisking last evening at Fulbari, the border of Indian side with Bangladesh, found 12 adult camels stacked in the massive truck.
During questioning the truckers could not show any valid document for such consignment.
