Wanted criminal injured in encounter in Dhanbad

Dhanbad (Jharkhand) , Oct 14 (UNI) A fierce encounter broke out early this morning between Dhanbad police and members of the Prince Khan gang near Tilatand Hill under Tetulmari police station area in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district, resulting in injuries to wanted criminal Bhanu Manjhi.
Police sources said Bhanu Manjhi, who faces over 13 criminal cases, was reportedly planning a major crime in the region.
Acting on a tip-off that he and his associates had gathered near Tilatand Hill to carry out an illegal operation, police teams launched an intensive search in the area.
