Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri reflects on ‘Operation Sindoor’ in emotional social media post

Mumbai, May 7 (UNI) Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has shared a poignant message on social media remembering Operation Sindoor, while paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces.
Agnihotri recently took to social media to recall one of the most courageous and defining moments in the country's history.
As India celebrates the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, the 52-year-old filmmaker took to X (formerly Twitter) to salute the courage, sacrifice, and strength of the Indian Armed Forces, inspiring the spirit of every Indian.
Sharing a powerful video and an emotional note, the filmmaker paid tribute to the bravery of the soldiers and said his greatest tribute would be to ensure that the story of Operation Sindoor reaches the world, keeping the sacrifice, passion, and spirit of India's defence forces alive forever.
Sharing the video, Agnihotri wrote, “One year of Operation Sindoor: A year since India showed the world that peace is our nature, but silence is not our weakness. Today, I bow my head to the courage of our leadership led by @narendramodi and our brave army, and the spirit of every Indian who stood united in a moment of national resolve.
And perhaps the greatest tribute we can offer is to ensure the story of Operation Sindoor is told to the world. Truthfully. Powerfully. So the world remembers what was defended, what was sacrificed, and what it cost to keep humanity alive.
History remembers wars. Civilisations remember courage."
He is now preparing to bring Operation Sindoor to the big screen. He will bring to life the military operation carried out by the Indian Armed Forces in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, which became a significant chapter in India's modern history.
Interestingly, his movie "The Bengal Files" is set to release in West Bengal on Friday. UNI NST SSP
