Virat Kohli rewrites history in ODIs

Vadodara, Jan 11 (UNI) India's batting maestro Virat Kohli continues to rewrite the record books in One-Day Internationals (ODIs), having secured 45 Player of the Match awards, the third-highest in ODI history behind Sachin Tendulkar (62) and Sanath Jayasuriya (48).
Kohli has been instrumental in India’s remarkable success in high-pressure chases. In 12 innings while chasing targets of 300 or more, he has amassed 1,091 runs at an astounding average of 121.22 and a strike rate of 125.25, including seven centuries and two fifties.
He also holds the record for the most instances of five or more consecutive 50 scores in ODIs, achieving the feat five times.
