Vinesh Phogat reverses retirement, targets LA 2028 Olympics after Paris heartbreak

Chandigarh, Dec 12 (UNI) Indian wrestler and current Haryana MLA Vinesh Phogat has announced her return to competitive wrestling, months after an emotional retirement following her disqualification at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In a detailed statement shared on social media, Phogat confirmed that she intends to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Phogat made history in Paris by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to reach an Olympic final.
