Vikrant Massey Kicks Off Shooting for ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’ in Dehradun

Mumbai, Dec 5 (UNI) Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey, known for his versatile performances, has commenced filming his next project "Aankhon Ki Gustankhiyan", which promises to be a heartwarming tale of love, with music at its core., in the picturesque city of Dehradun.
The film marks Massey’s return to the set after announcing a brief hiatus from the entertainment industry.
Starring alongside Massey in this musical love story is debutante Shanaya Kapoor, with Arushi Nishank also playing a significant role. The film has been directed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mini Films.
Speaking about the casting, producer Mansi Bagla emphasised the meticulous selection of the lead actors.
The screenplay, penned by Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla, promises to deliver a poignant narrative infused with soulful music, making it a compelling addition to the romance genre.
Massey, who recently sparked speculation with his "retirement" announcement, later clarified in a recent in a recent interview Zoom, that it was merely a temporary break to focus on personal growth and rejuvenation.
"Acting is all I can do. And it has given me everything I have. My physical and mental health have taken a hit. I just want to take some time off, want to better my craft. I feel a sense of monotony at the moment. My post has been misinterpreted. That I am quitting or retiring from acting. I want to take some time off to focus on my family and health. I would be back when the time feels right."
