Vijayendra Yediyurappa asks for CBI probe into Neha murder case in Karnataka

Hubballi, April 23 (UNI) Karnataka BJP President, Vijayendra Yediyurappa, has urged the Congress-led state government to transfer the investigation of the tragic murder of student Neha Hiremath to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
During his visit to Neha's grieving family in Hubballi, Vijayendra expressed dissatisfaction with the state government's handling of the case. He criticized the government for arresting only one person in connection with the murder and claimed that not all other individuals had been called in for questioning.
"I demand the Congress government and the Chief Minister, instead of wasting time, by doing an investigation by CID (CoD), please hand over the investigation to the CBI," the state BJP President told reporters here on Tuesday.
