Bengaluru, Feb 6 (UNI) Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Thursday made strong statements suggesting that senior party leaders in Delhi are not supporting the faction led by MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.
He also voiced his concerns over the silence of neutral leaders in the face of derogatory remarks made against his father, veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa.
Addressing speculation about central BJP leaders backing the Yatnal faction, Vijayendra clarified, “There is a misconception that the high command or Santosh ji (BJP national general secretary) is supporting them. This is completely unfounded. No leader from Delhi is backing them.
