Vigyan Bharati Jharkhand holds General Body Meeting in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, Aug 10 (UNI) Vigyan Bharati Jharkhand successfully held its General Body Meeting at CSIR–CIMFR, Dhanbad, with key members and dignitaries in attendance.
Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, was elected President. Dr. Chandrashekhar Dwivedi, Central University Jharkhand, became Secretary. Vice Presidents include Dr. J.K. Pandey, Prof. Dheeraj, and Dr. M.P. Roy. S.K. Kashyap is Joint Secretary, and Dr. Ravindra Shetty is Treasurer. Several scientists and academicians joined the executive committee.
The meeting discussed major programs for 2025, including an International Conference on environment, mining, and energy with IIT (ISM) and CSIR–CIMFR, and a conference on geologist Pramatha Nath Bose’s legacy in Jamshedpur and Ranchi. Vigyan Bharati’s Foundation Day celebrations will start from 21 October with activities across districts.
