Vice President pays homage to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan in Bihar

Chhapra, Oct 11 (UNI) Vice President CP Radhakrishnan paid rich tributes to the pioneer of the total revolution, Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan, popularly known as JP, on his birth anniversary at his ancestral village, Sitab Diara, in Saran district.
The Vice President arrived at Lala Tola village, located under the Revilganj police station area, and garlanded the life-size statue of Jayaprakash Narayan installed at his ancestral residence, observing a moment of silence in his memory.
Thereafter, Radhakrishnan visited the Jayaprabha Library, named after the wife of JP, where he took a glimpse of the collection and interacted with officials. He appreciated the efforts made to preserve the legacy and ideals of the Loknayak through books and exhibits highlighting his role in the students' movement during the emergency period.
