Vande Mataram echoes at ASC Centre

Bengaluru, Nov 7 (UNI) The hauntingly powerful words of Vande Mataram echoed through the parade grounds of ASC Centre & College on Friday, as soldiers in uniform and schoolchildren stood shoulder to shoulder — saluting a song that once stirred a nation to rise.
At the War Memorial and Animal Transport Memorial within the sprawling Bengaluru campus, officers, Agniveers, and students of the Army Public School, Agram, gathered to mark 150 years of India’s National Song — a tribute that blended history with living patriotism.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the year-long national commemoration, the gathering joined the rest of the country in the collective singing of Vande Mataram. The moment, simple yet stirring, reflected the unbroken thread of unity that connects India’s freedom struggle to the present generation of defenders and learners.
