Uttarakhand to develop model Science city housing multi-pronged scientific research activities

Dehradun, Jul 13 (UNI) The Uttarakhand government has started working to set up a Science City in Dehradun housing multipronged research based activities with aim to create a model umbrella scientific institution for entire country.
Chief Minister Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today claimed that Dehradun Science City will emerge as model destination for employment to the youths from across the country.
Sharing the information CM Dhami stated that construction of Dehradun Science City is progressing fast and is likely to emerge as an exemplary multipurpose scientific research activities platform for the whole country.

Haryana tightens rules on long-vacant university posts, case-by-case approval retained

Panchkula, Aug 18 (UNI) The Haryana Finance Department has revised its economy measures for State Universities, informing all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments and Vice-Chancellors of state universities that newly created posts remaining vacant for four years may be treated as deemed abolished, while departments requiring such posts to be filled after four years will have to submit the cases to the Finance Department for consideration on a case-to-case basis.
