Uttarakhand budget session to be held in Gairsain, budget to cross Rs one lakh crore mark

Dehradun, Jan 22 (UNI) The upcoming Uttarakhand Budget Session will be held in the state's summer capital, Gairsain, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said.
The CM shared the information after the state cabinet authorised him to take a final call on the venue for the 2026 budget session, with the budget likely to surpass the Rs one lakh crore mark.
Speaking to the media in Dehradun, Chief Minister Dhami said the budget session is traditionally held at the Bhararisain legislature building in the summer capital Gairsain. Last year, the session could not take place there due to the ongoing renovation and repair work in the state assembly building and it was shifted to Dehradun.

The complaint was filed by a party worker against a Facebook account named “Shreya Yadav.”
According to police officials, the case was registered following a written complaint submitted by Cantt Assembly President Gangaram Verma.
