UT: Protests planned against privatisation of power in Chandigarh, UP: AIPEF

Chandigarh, Jan 20 (UNI) National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees & Engineers (NCCOEEE) has decided to hold nationwide demonstrations and protest meetings at all state capitals and power utility headquarters against the privatization of electricity in Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh.
Shailendra Dubey, Chairman, All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) said here on Monday that
as per decision of NCCOEE , Power Employees & Engineers will protest in the capitals of all the provinces of the country on January 23 against the pre-bidding conference for privatization in Uttar Pradesh and hold a press conference demanding cancellation of the privatisation process.

India return of the Kapurthala woman deferred as Pakistan moves to extend her visa
