US VP JD Vance responds to mocking portrayal on ‘South Park’

Washington, Aug 7 (UNI) Responding to his roasting on Adult Swim’s sit-com series ‘South Park’, US Vice President J D Vance issued a very short response, saying merely that he ‘made it.’

The second episode of the show, following in the footsteps of its controversial Season 27 debut, was not any less sharp in its attacks on the Trump administration – particularly on the issue of deportation by the country’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) – a body of the US Department of Homeland Security.

“Well, I’ve finally made it,” Vance wrote on X, linking to the show’s post featuring a mini version of him standing next to Donald Trump, ala Tattoo and Mr. Rourke on Fantasy Island, reports Deadline.

Most of the episode was targeted at the ICE and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Wednesday’s ‘Got a Nut’ episode took on the Department of Homeland Security’s abductions of undocumented immigrants, as well as U.S. citizens. In a poignant back-and-forth between DHS and ‘South Park’, the burgeoning federal agency actually featured one of the show’s images of masked agents on social media to link to a recruiting site.

The show has found itself battling criticism from the White House, after its debut episode made fun of Donald Trump by showing him in bed with Satan.

Back in July, the White House attacked the series and said, “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

Recently, the show makers responded to the comment after ICE used a still from the episode to promote its website, stating on X “Wait, so we ARE relevant? #eatabagofd***s.”
