US to sanctions Russian, Iranian individuals & entities later on Tuesday

Washington, Sep 10 (UNI) The United States will impose sanctions on Russian and Iranian individuals and entities allegedly involved in the delivery of weapons and components for drones and ballistic missiles, White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby said on Tuesday.
“We and our allies are … going to be designating individuals and entities in Iran and Russia that are involved in the actual delivery of weapons components and weapons systems, including UAVs, and again, these close-range ballistic missiles,” Kirby said during a virtual press conference.
Earlier on Tuesday US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the US would impose new sanctions on Iran after Washington confirmed reports that Russia had received shipments of ballistic missiles from the Islamic Republic.
