US strikes Iran for 9th night as another American service member is killed

Washington/ Tehran, July 20 (UNI) The United States intensified its military campaign against Iran by launching a ninth consecutive night of airstrikes, even as the conflict spread across the Gulf and claimed another American service member.
With Iran refusing negotiations until it gains what it calls the "upper hand" on the battlefield, the escalating confrontation has heightened regional security fears and pushed global oil prices higher.
The US military targeted military command centres, missile and drone launch sites, air defence systems, and maritime infrastructure, as the conflict expanded across the Gulf.
