US-Israel offensive on Iran widens; Trump says Washington seeking ‘Very Solid’ deal

Washington, March 15 (UNI) The conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran intensified on Sunday as fresh Israeli airstrikes hit Iranian territory while Tehran responded with missile and drone attacks across the region, even as U.S. President Donald Trump said Washington was not yet ready to reach a deal to end the war.
In a media interview, Trump had said Iran had expressed interest in negotiations but the United States would not agree to any settlement unless it met Washington’s expectations. “Iran wants to make a deal, and I don’t want to make it because the terms aren’t good enough yet,” he said, adding that any agreement would need to be “very solid.”
Earlier, Iranian authorities had outlined three conditions for ending hostilities: recognition of Iran’s sovereign rights, payment of reparations for damage caused by the attacks, and guarantees against future military action by the United States or Israel.
