Uproar over corruption allegations on final day of Jharkhand Assembly’s Winter Session

Ranchi, Dec 11 (UNI) The concluding day of the Jharkhand Assembly’s winter session witnessed heated political turmoil both inside and outside the House on Thursday, as corruption allegations sparked sharp exchanges between the ruling and opposition parties.
AJSU legislator Nirmal Mahato staged an unexpected sit-in protest within the Assembly premises, raising slogans against the government and alleging a severe breakdown of governance.
“Even God may not be able to save Jharkhand now. Earlier, officials looted the poor and collected money for leaders, but now the situation has worsened to the extent that ministers are not acting even after taking money from legislators,” Mahato said.
