UP:Youth arrested for father's murder in Jaunpur

Jaunpur (UP), Apr 20 (UNI) A 34-year-old youth was arrested and sent to jail by the police on Sunday for the murder of his sexagenarian father in the Sarpatha area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here.
Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Ayush Srivastava said that Prabhakar Singh (65) was hit with a stick and killed by his son Akhilesh Singh, alias Otu Singh, at his semi-constructed house on the side of the Lucknow-Ballia highway on Saturday.
"The son killed the father over the selling of land and money transactions," he said.
