UP: Woman, and son found hanging in Ghazipur

Ghazipur (UP), Feb 17 (UNI) The bodies of a woman and her 16-month-old child were found hanging from a noose in Karimuddinpur area of Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Rahul Gaur, a resident of Karakat village in the area, had gone out of the house for some work at around 10 AM, while his mother had gone to the field. "His wife Salita (25) was alone at home with her child," they said.
Police sources said that when Rahul reached home in the afternoon, he saw his wife Salita and her 16-month-old son Rishabh hanging from the noose while the door was open. "On hearing the noise, people from the vicinity gathered and the police were informed about the incident," they said.
