UP: Varanasi police arrest 10 interstate conmen in major crackdown

Varanasi, Apr 8 (UNI) In a major action under an ongoing anti-crime drive, the Commissionerate Police in Varanasi arrested 10 members of an interstate gang allegedly involved in fraud and theft.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Cantt Police Station and the SOG 01 team.
The police recovered Rs 1.7 lakh in cash and a four-wheeler (worth Rs 18 lakh), which was used in committing the crimes.
