UP's youth transform into job creators from job seekers

Lucknow, Apr 21 (UNI) The youth of Uttar Pradesh are no longer just seeking jobs, instead they are emerging as job creators through Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, official sources said here on Monday.
Sources said that launched on January 24, on the occasion of UP Day, the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan is proving to be a massive success. "In just 67 days, the campaign for self-employment has received a record-breaking 2,07,158 applications, averaging more than 2,500 applications per day, a clear testament to the growing entrepreneurial spirit among the state's youth," they said.
Sources said that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Mission Rojgar, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMA) department effectively translates this vision into ground-level action. "Of the applications received under the CM YUVA, 1,66,522 have already been forwarded to banks. So far, 44,521 applications have been approved and 30,595 youth have secured loans to launch their ventures. Besides, loans worth more than Rs 1200 crore have been distributed," they said+.
