UP: Rs 111 crore allocated for comprehensive road repairs

Lucknow, Mar 24 (UNI) Administrative and financial approval has been granted for the special repair of 346 roads, with a total budget exceeding Rs 111 crore as a part of the state government's large-scale road transformation initiative across Uttar Pradesh, official sources said here on Monday.
Sources said that of this, Rs 66.67 crore has been allocated from the State Road Fund. "The project will cover urban and rural roads across more than 40 districts, significantly improving traffic flow and enhancing public convenience," they said.
Sources said that the Chief Engineer and Head of the Public Works Department have been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the timely and high-quality execution of these repairs.
