UP: Prateek Yadav announces to divorce Aparna on social media

Lucknow, Jan 19 (UNI) Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's brother, Prateek Yadav, will divorce Aparna Yadav, a BJP leader and vice-chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Women Commission.
Prateek announced the end of his relationship with Aparna in an Instagram post on today morning. But later in the evening, he made another post to stress his strained relationship and how it had affected his family.

The body of a 25-year-old man was found hanging on the third floor of the house, while the body of a transgender person who had been missing for three days was recovered from a tin trunk on the upper floor on Thursday.

Lucknow, Feb 19 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Congress on Thursday held a peaceful satyagraha at the party’s state headquarters in Lucknow, protesting against the alleged lathi-charge on party workers during the February 17 Assembly gherao organised under the “MNREGA Bachao Sangram.”
The protest was led by Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) President Ajay Rai, who accused the BJP-led state government of suppressing democratic dissent.

Shimla: Nepal-origin man found murdered on Pabbar river bank

Shimla, Feb 19 (UNI) The body of a 36-year-old Nepal-origin man, identified as Rakesh Pratap, was recovered from the banks of the Pabbar River under Chidgaon police station on Wednesday. Police said the deceased had sharp-edged weapon injuries on his head, and his hands and feet were tied, indicating murder. A case has been registered under Sections 103 and 3(5) of the IPC.
