UP: PM inaugurates redeveloped Aishbagh Jn. railway station

Lucknow, Jul 17 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 75 redeveloped 'Amrit Stations' of Indian Railways and other projects under the 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme' including the Aishbagh station in the state capital today.
The inauguration of these 75 Amrit Stations across 20 states marks one of the world's largest station redevelopment programmes. As part of this initiative, the redeveloped Aishbagh Jn. railway station of the North Eastern Railway's Lucknow Division was inaugurated today.
A programme was organized at Aishbagh Jn. station, attended by Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Seth, MLCs Lalji Prasad Nirmal and Mukesh Sharma, Vice-Chairperson of the UP State Women's Commission Aparna Bisht Yadav, BJP City President Anand Dwivedi, Representative of the union Defence Minister Diwakar Tripathi, other public representatives, Divisional Railway Manager (Lucknow Division) Gaurav Agarwal, and senior officials.

Panchkula, Aug 9 (UNI) Haryana has stepped up its offensive against the drug trade by targeting not just narcotics traffickers but also the wealth allegedly created through their illegal business, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini saying on Sunday that around Rs 53 crore worth of illegal assets have been seized and 111 properties acquired through illicit means demolished so far.
