UP: One killed, 6 injured as car falls into ditch

Bahraich (UP), May 19 (UNI) One person was killed and six others were injured when a car fell into a roadside ditch in Khutehna area of Bahraich district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place when the car of devotees was returning after visiting Bahraich Dargah Sharif went out of control and fell into a roadside ditch near Bankata village under Khutehna outpost area. "One person died and 6 other people have suffered serious injuries," they said.
Police sources said that it is believed that the car driver had dozed off, due to which this accident happened. "All the persons in the car are said to be residents of Kaptanganj police station of Basti district," they said.
