UP: Mother-daughter duo killed, 5 injured after being crushed by car

Gorakhpur, Apr 26 (UNI) A mother-daughter duo were killed, and five other members of the family were injured when a car hit them while they were sleeping on the roadside in Bhagwanpur village of the Gulharia area of Gorakhpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Saturday.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the accident that took place on Balapar Road in Gorakhpur district. He has expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased.
He has directed the district administration officials to send the injured to the hospital immediately and to provide them proper treatment. Along with this, he has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
