UP: Mayawati condemns brutal killing of Kashyap community youth in Meerut

Lucknow, Jan 11 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati today strongly condemned the brutal killing of a youth from the Kashyap community belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) in the Sardhana area of Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Mayawati described the incident—where the youth was allegedly burned alive—as extremely cruel and shameful, stating that no amount of condemnation would be sufficient for such a heinous act.
She emphasized that to prevent such tragic incidents, continuous vigilance and proactive action are essential at both the government and administrative levels.
