Lucknow, Apr 22 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 33 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including District Magistrates of several districts, along with three senior IPS officers, official sources said here on Tuesday.
Sources said that Divisional Commissioner Varanasi Kaushal Ram Sharma has been posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister, DM Varanasi S Rajalingam has been posted in place of Kaushal Raj.
Principal Secretary L Venkateshwarlu, who was holding charge of several departments, has been relieved from the charge of Transport department. Principal Secretary Stamp and Registration Amit Gupta has been given additional charge of Transport department along with Chairman of UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
Special Secretary to the CM Satyendra Kumr has been posted as the new DM of Varanasi. DM Hapur Prerna Sharma has been transferred as Director, State Urban Development Authority (SUDA). Vice-Chairman of Meerut Development Authority (MDA) Abhishek Pandey has been shifted as DM Hapur.
Chief Development Officer (CDO) Gorakhpur, Sanjay Kumar Meena, has been transferred as vice-chairman MDA. Joint Magistrate Aligarh, Shashwat Tripurari, has been posted as CDO Gorakhpur.
DM Bareilly Ravindra Kumar-II has been shifted to Azamgarh in the same capacity. He will replace Navneet Singh Chahal, who has been posted as Special Secretary to the CM. DM Ambedkar Nagar Avinash Singh has been transferred as DM Bareilly.
Special Secretary Energy Anupam Shukla has been posted as DM Ambedkar Nagar. Municipal Commissioner, Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) Indrajeet Singh has been transferred as Special Secretary Energyand CDO Prayagraj Gaurav Kumar has been posted in his place.
Joint Magistrate Chandauli Harshika Singh has been shifted as CDO Prayagraj. DM Ghazipur Aryaka Akhouri has been transferred as Special Secretary Medical, Health and Family Welfare. DM Jhansi Avinash Kumar has been posted in her place.
DM Mahoba Mridul Chaudhary has been shifted to Jhansi in the same capacity. Secretary UP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Ghazal Bharadwaj has been posted as DM Mahoba.
DM Sant Kabir Nagar Mahendra Singh Tanwar has been transferred to Kushinagar in the same capacity in the place of Vishal Bharadwaj who has been posted as Special Secretary to the CM. Special Secretary Secondary Education Alok Kumar has been shifted as DM Sant Kabir Nagar.
Special Secretary MSME Dr Ujjwal Kumar has been transferred to UP Medical Supply Corporation as the Managing Director (MD). Special Secretary Planning department Pulkit Khare has been shifted as Mission Director, Skill Development Mission.
Special Secretary Culture department and Director Information Shishir has been transferred to MSME department in the same capacity. DM Bhadohi Vishal Singh has been posted as Director Information, Vice-Chairman Moradabad Development Authority Shailesh Kumar has been transferred as DM Bhadohi.
CDO Shravasti Anubhav Singh has been posted as Vice-Chairman Moradabad Development Authority. Joint Magistrate Basti Shahid Ahmad has been transferred as CDO Shravasti. MP UP Medical Supply Corporation Jagdish has been posted as Secretary Home department.
Secretary UP State Information Commission Abhay has been shifted as Member (Judicial) UP Revenue Board. Secretary Revenue Board Dr Vedpati Mishra has been transferred as Secretary UP State Information Commission.
Among senior IPS officers, Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Meerut Zone, DK Thakur has been transferred to Special Security Force (SSF) in the same capacity. ADG Prayagraj Zone Bhanu Bhaskar has been posted in place of DK Thakur. ADG and Secretary (Home) Dr Sanjiv Gupta has been shifted to ADG Prayagraj Zone.
