UP govt to develop Falahiri Baba, Durga temples in Prayagraj

Prayagraj, Mar 11 (UNI) In a significant step towards strengthening religious tourism in Uttar Pradesh, the Tourism Department has initiated the development of two prominent spiritual sites in Prayagraj district.
The Falahiri Baba Temple in Karchana and the Durga Temple at Devi Dham Pachdeva in Soraon tehsil will be developed and beautified with an investment of over ₹3.46 crore, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and providing improved facilities for pilgrims and visitors.
State Tourism and Culture minister Jaiveer Singh said that Prayagraj continues to be a major centre of attraction for pilgrims and tourists from across the country and abroad. He noted that while the state government is strengthening infrastructure at well-known religious destinations, equal priority is being given to the holistic development of lesser-known spiritual sites.

Addressing a massive public rally at Sports Stadium Kathua, where he launched a people's movement against narcotics under the Drug Free Jammu Kashmir campaign, Sinha asked the police authorities to adopt a focused and time-bound approach for complete elimination of the drug syndicate.
