UP: FIR registered against constable for disproportionate assets in Lucknow

Lucknow, March 12 (UNI) A case has been registered against police constable driver Rahul Kumar Shukla at BBD Police Station for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to officials from the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Corruption Organisation, an investigation revealed that Shukla, who has served about 23 years in the police department, spent far more money than what he could have legally earned through his salary and allowances.
Inspector Ram Singh of BBD Police Station confirmed that a report regarding the matter has been sent to senior authorities.
