UP ensures round the clock vigil to prevent water crisis amid extreme heat

Lucknow, Apr 25 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has taken proactive measures to ensure that there is no drinking water crisis in Uttar Pradesh, even during extreme heat, official sources said here on Friday.
Sources said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued clear directives to guarantee a continuous and uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to every rural household across the state.
Sources said that all divisional commissioners have been directed to conduct regular reviews and take swift action to ensure the effective implementation of water supply management. "A formal directive has also been issued to all District Magistrates to remain alert round the clock for water supply management," they said.
